Floorboards were removed, new beams were installed, and voids were constructed to create space and sightlines. All this was done under the auspices of Studio Groen+ Schild from Deventer, which made exactly the right choices throughout. The result is a warm and atmospheric home with stoves, fireplaces, cozy seating areas, and a lovely city garden.
