Space for relaxation and tranquility
The layout of the office promotes productivity and collaboration, while also providing space for relaxation and tranquility. Flexible workspaces, comfortable seating areas, and quiet zones were incorporated into the design. The wooden see-through doors serve as a versatile space for both work and events. The placement of indoor plants throughout the office not only adds a touch of natural beauty, but also helps to purify the air. In addition, the combination of warm lighting and natural finishes has helped to create a more inviting atmosphere. Natural materials such as wood, marble, and natural plaster were used in the design to not only enhance the aesthetic appeal of office spaces but also to Sustainability . An excellent example of this is the unique finish of the bar, which combines microcement and shells to create a durable product that will last for years to come. By combining these elements, the interior design presents a harmonious, balanced office space that feels more grounded, natural, and welcoming to those who use it.

Our design concept revolves around versatility and adaptability and recognizes the need for a modern workspace that accommodates various activities in addition to traditional work tasks. The layout offers flexibility, with different areas for work, meetings, events, and moments of rest. Lighting and acoustics played a very important role in creating a pleasant working environment. We used natural and sustainable sound-absorbing materials and strategic room dividers to minimize noise distractions. We also used a lot of greenery to create a soothing workspace that promotes a sense of calm and vitality. Our design promotes productivity, stimulates creativity, and enhances well-being by offering flexible workspaces, optimizing lighting and acoustics, and creating a harmonious connection with nature.

Merijn Hartog of Broersma Werken: "And Agency was located on Westeinde, where their current 300 m² unit quickly proved to be too small for their growing activities. We came into contact with each other through another client, for whom we had found a fantastic location at the time, an old tram depot.
With an ambition to accommodate 60-70 workstations, they initially began their search for a space of around 800 m² with an urban feel.
Eventually, we found a remarkable location at Ruysdaelstraat 58-60, which, at an impressive 951 m², was considerably larger than they had originally had in mind. The space exuded creativity and character, originally an old garage, with a unique identity. The need to move forced them to temporarily bridge a year at another location, in a city villa at Mierenveldstraat 3, while they were busy with the renovation. The owner renovated the entire building, and the initiative for the finishing and interior design was taken by And Agency in collaboration with Sascha ter Haar of 88 Projects and Studio Sluijzer, resulting in an office with its own identity and character, imbued with creative energy.
The minimalist design and preference for natural materials have created a space that evokes a sense of connection with nature, even when working within the confines of an office environment.
