I have lived in this house for almost 18 years and have thoroughly enjoyed it. It is a wonderfully light apartment and, even though you live in the middle of the city, you can enjoy the sun on the balcony in peace and quiet all day long. The light coming in at the front with the beautiful stained glass also makes this apartment special to me. And although the living room feels spacious, it is also cozy. With Central Station within walking distance, it is also easily accessible and parking is easy in the street or in the new parking garage at the Marnix. I think the Jordaan is a really great neighborhood with cozy streets on one side and beautiful canals around the corner. And so many nice cafes and terraces for a coffee or a drink, and then all those delicious restaurants. And the Noordermarkt on Saturdays, of course. It's so nice that you can just walk there. I think that's what I'll miss most about the neighborhood, the Noordermark. During the week, it's wonderfully quiet and you can enjoy a cup of coffee at Winkel or lunch at Libertine. And on Saturdays, there's the conviviality of the farmers' market. Dominica is my favorite restaurant, especially lunch on the terrace on Sundays in the summer. It's a truly unique spot!
