We didn’t really want to move, but the moment we stepped over the threshold here, we were Immediately Sold. An apartment with dimensions you don’t usually find in Amsterdam—almost 10 meters wide. High ceilings with windows on all sides. Right in the heart of the city, yet an oasis of calm. What makes it so special for us is that every room is beautiful. From the large living room down to the smallest details like the hallway, staircase, and even the laundry room, everything has the same unique charm. Plenty of light all year round. As soon as the sun comes out, we open the conservatory doors wide and enjoy being outdoors. My favorite spot is at the table, the central spot from which I can take in all the beauty: the desk area, the sitting room, the sunroom, and the Roof terrace last but not least, the lovely kitchen where my partner prepares the most fantastic dishes.
