A tour
Third floor
The sturdy double steel doors separate the stairwell and hall with toilet, making a statement to the living room. The living room spans the entire third floor, with the seating area and cozy gas fireplace at the front. On the side, there is a custom-made wall unit with a desk. A perfect workspace.
The luxurious kitchen, which also features a gas fireplace, is a real eye-catcher, made using warm and sturdy materials. The kitchen is, of course, equipped with modern built-in appliances such as a 6-burner stove with oven, combination microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, and Quooker. The dining area is at the rear, next to the French doors leading to the sunny terrace with automatic sun blinds. The terrace of approx. 8 m² faces south.
Fourth floor
The spacious landing with light coming in from the roof gives this floor a spacious feel.
The master bedroom is at the front of the house and features a custom-made walk-in closet.
At the rear of the house are two good-sized bedrooms, one of which also has beautiful custom-made wardrobes.
The luxurious and contemporary bathroom is spacious and features a freestanding bathtub, walk-in shower, and custom-made washbasin unit.
The outdoor space
At the rear, adjacent to the dining area, is the spacious terrace. The terrace of approximately 8 m² faces south and is a true extension of the living room. The French doors are open as soon as there is a little bit of sun, making this terrace a very high-quality outdoor space. The automatic sun blinds, installed in 2021, provide shade.
The building
With a few exceptions, the buildings surrounding the park date from around 1890 and consist of apartments that are more richly decorated than the residences the rest of De Pijp. The facade has neo-Renaissance style features such as bluestone and white bands.
The painting on the rear of the building was carried out in 2020, as was the cleaning of the facade. The stairwell was fitted with new flooring in 2020. In 2021, automatic sun blinds were installed on the terrace and a video intercom system was installed on both floors.
The surroundings
The apartment is located in the Zuid district, in the most sought-after and quiet part of De Pijp. The wide tree-lined street and Sarphatipark practically on your doorstep make it a popular and green residential area. The park is ideal for sports or relaxation.
The almost daily market on Albert Cuyp is within walking distance, as are the various shops on Van Woustraat and the recently renovated Ferdinand Bolstraat. De Pijp is known for its liveliness and cozy restaurants, all of which are within walking distance.

What the owners will miss
Luxurious and spacious living in the most vibrant part of Amsterdam in a fully renovated apartment that feels like a real home. From the moment you enter the apartment via the staircase, you feel the tranquility. Everyone who walks in notices how nice it is to live here.
The very spacious upper floor where you can hear the rain tapping on the roof and the birds singing in the large trees in the back gardens. Located in the heart of De Pijp, with Sarphatipark and the Albert Cuyp market on one side and the wide Amstel river on the other.
When the sun rises in the morning and the birds are singing, we prefer to sit in the cozy dining area next to the kitchen. In the afternoon, the balcony is a great place to relax, while in the evening it's nice and cozy on the sofa in front of the fireplace.
Sarphatipark is just a few steps away, and there are countless great restaurants in De Pijp: Little Collins, Bar Fisk, Ca-bron, De Wasserette, Brut de Mer, Penny Lane, and of course Rise Bakery for the best croissants in Amsterdam.
Living here is optimal convenience: everything is within walking distance and the house is wonderfully quiet. There are nice neighbors with whom you can spontaneously have a glass of wine on their bench when you come back from an outing. It is a beautiful street with the Amstel river just around the corner.
