The last renovation dates back to 1962. In order to make a good assessment of what the new owner needs to do to renovate the property and prepare it for the future, a major clean-up has been carried out. An asbestos inventory and asbestos removal have also been carried out. Services and installations Location for new Services and installations Location the spacious attic and large basement.

What the owners will miss
“Our family has enjoyed many happy years in this sunny, cheerful, and spacious house. We loved the spacious layout of the house with a garden on three sides. The large terrace with mosaic tiles in the south-facing Rear garden us a feeling of openness, light, and space, which is certainly not a given in the city. With a church (without church bells!) adjacent to the Rear garden , we Rear garden optimal privacy, while the absence of tall buildings around the house provided plenty of light.
Each room had its own charm for us. We spent many pleasant moments together in the quiet library room with French doors opening onto the terrace and the rustic garden with its beautiful cedar tree. The living room offered an atmosphere of light and security with its fireplace and sliding door to the garden. In the dining room, we held many large and small, cozy but also formal dinners. We also enjoyed this house upstairs, thanks to the spacious layout of the Rooms the hall and the two balconies with their characteristic tile pattern, both overlooking the garden. The largest balcony was a wonderful place to relax early in the year, where we enjoyed the sun and reading a book.
The proximity of Beethovenstraat, with its lunch, dinner, and coffee options and various shops, has always been a great convenience for us. The Concertgebouw, the Rijksmuseum, and even the nearby part of the city center were within walking distance, while we could reach Station Zuid in a few minutes by bike or tram or drive onto the A10 by car. The quiet, tree-lined streets in the neighborhood and the Beatrixpark around the corner made it a very pleasant, green environment for us. With the large garage and the possibility to park several cars on our own property, we felt privileged.
What we miss most is the cozy atmosphere of the bright Rooms the garden side, whether it was in the middle of summer with the doors open, or in less favorable weather with the fireplace lit. We now have to say goodbye to this wonderful house, but the beautiful memories remain. It's time for a new family to move in and enjoy living here just as much.
