Back-office employee

Creativity and presentation set the tone for Philine.

“Working in the back office for the Housing division, I can fully express my passion for media and design,” she says. “Our brochures are never just thrown together; for every home, we carefully piece together the images, text, and details until everything fits perfectly.”

Philine ended up in real estate after a detour. After completing her studies and gaining international work experience, she discovered that real estate really energized her. At Broersma, she found exactly what she was looking for: a dynamic office, within walking distance of De Pijp, and colleagues to work with.

In her role, she combines structure with taste. "Photography, marketing, design: that mix is what makes this work." A recent listing she is proud of? "A special family home in Amsterdam-Zuid. Hotel chic, botanical accents, a bathroom with bold material choices. The presentation had to exude that level of sophistication, and we succeeded. It was so much fun to do."

What strikes her about the Amsterdam market is that clients are becoming increasingly critical of presentation. “Many residences unique features such as a wine cellar, a gym, or a special walk-in closet. Sellers are proud of these features, and we make sure they are visible.”

For her, Amsterdam means convenience and excitement. "Everything is within reach: friends, supermarkets, restaurants, and bars. There's always somewhere to go." Her favorite neighborhood remains De Pijp, with Twin Olives on Albert Cuyp as her go-to spot for groceries. That's where you'll find the best snacks and hummus. To end the day with a beer on the weekend, she stops by Eddy bar. In her spare time, she is an avid cyclist at Rocycle, goes hiking, and attends festivals such as Wildeburg and Lago Lago. Her colorful personality and enthusiastic demeanor perfectly match the energy she brings to her work at Broersma.
