Leonie Post
Personal assistant
Leonie combines a fresh perspective on real estate with a passion for people and architecture.
Leonie recently started working as a personal assistant and brings enthusiasm, analytical skills, and a sense of aesthetics to the job. While studying Real Estate at Hanze University of Applied Sciences, she developed a fascination for the housing market, particularly the human side of it. "What I like most is that you really connect with people. You help them bring direction and structure to something as big as finding a home."
During her internship at Eefje Voogd Makelaardij in Amsterdam, she fell in love with the city. For her thesis, she is researching how the application process for new-build homes can be accelerated with the help of AI—a nod to her love of order and efficiency. She has now been working in real estate for over a year and a half, with previous experience at a real estate agency in Groningen.
“I felt welcome at Broersma from day one. The team is warm and friendly, and I feel truly appreciated here.” Leonie derives satisfaction from bringing structure to the schedules of clients and colleagues. “It energizes me when I can help people gain clarity.” She finds the Amsterdam housing market dynamic and surprising.
Since July 2024, she has been living in De Pijp, her favorite neighborhood in Amsterdam. "Everything is within walking distance: nice boutiques, terraces, and cozy cafés." Her regular hangout is Café De Sarphaat, where she likes to drink an IPA. Tapas restaurant Tia Rosa—discovered via TikTok—is also highly recommended: "Even my Spanish in-laws approve!"
What makes Amsterdam special is the diversity of each neighborhood. "It feels like a collection of small villages within one city. Each area has its own character." She loves houses with a distinctive style. Her favorite home? A specific house, a Hidden Object, reminiscent of the villas in the LA Hills: "It doesn't fit in with the neighborhood, and that's precisely what makes it so special."
In her spare time, Leonie enjoys Pilates—preferably the challenging classes—and running along the Amstel River. "I recently ran past a rowing competition, which gave me that typical Amsterdam feeling. I also enjoy cooking, having drinks, and of course shopping with my friends. I especially love Gerard Doustraat and the Nine Streets."
