After ten years in sales, Duco made a deliberate move into real estate in early 2026. The combination of advising and guiding clients Immediately him: helping people take an important step, with care and insight. Through his KRMT training, he continues to expand his knowledge in the field.

At Broersma, Duco supports the real estate agents throughout the entire process, from sales consultation to showings. It is precisely this process that makes his work interesting. He empathizes with both sellers and buyers and has a keen sense of what is going on. With empathy and an eye for detail, he knows how to anticipate needs at just the right moment and offer personalized advice, especially when emotions come into play when letting go of a home full of memories. One moment that has stayed with him is a home in Amsterdam-Zuid, where a family eventually found their place. Guiding such a process—from viewings to closing, including the structural inspection—is what makes the work meaningful to him.

Amsterdam-Zuid is one of Duco’s favorite neighborhoods: lively and stylish, with the water nearby. In his free time, he enjoys playing sports and soccer, or heading into the city to grab a bite to eat.
