Dit oude bruine café bestaat al meer dan 100 jaar. Even leek 't Sluisje te verdwijnen maar het is gekocht door 85 buurtbewoners en zo is er een nieuwe uitbater gevonden. Francis Boeske Projects
Kunstgalerie Francis Boeske Projects, opgericht door Francis Boeske, vertegenwoordigt een selecte groep kunstenaars, waardoor er de mogelijkheid is om naast de solotentoonstellingen ook speciale projecten in de galerie te organiseren. Digitale middelen spelen een grote rol in de tentoongestelde werken, voor onder meer presentatie, projecties en communicatie.

Noorderparkbad
In het Noorderparkbad kun je het hele jaar door zwemmen. Met zowel een binnen- als een buitenzwembad is er genoeg plek om baantjes te zwemmen, zwemles te nemen of mee te doen aan een les aquarobics. Gelegen in het Noorderpark is het zwembad ontworpen met bijpassende ronde en golvende vormen. Dit ontwerp is niet onopgemerkt gebleven. Zo won het zwembad in 2016 de jury- en publieksprijs van de Amsterdamse Architectuur Prijs en werd het genomineerd voor de BNA beste gebouw in 2016. Als klap op de vuurpijl werd het op de zwembadbeurs Piscine Global in Lyon uitgeroepen tot het mooiste publieke zwembad ter wereld. Het zwembad is kortom een bezoek waard.
