My favorite spot in the house is undoubtedly the little balcony. It may be small, but that’s what makes it so cozy. Here, I enjoy the peace and fresh air, with a good book or a cup of coffee in hand. It’s my own little oasis in the city. The neighborhood is truly fantastic. Everything you need is nearby. I often start my day with a run in Vondelpark, which is just a stone’s throw away. After that, I can quickly swing by the supermarket for daily groceries. And when it comes to good food and drinks, you’re in the right place. Restaurant Bonnie is always a cozy spot, and there are more than enough bakeries nearby for fresh bread or a delicious croissant. I always get my daily coffee at Catcha, a regular stop that kicks off my day on the right note. What will I miss the most? Without a doubt, the people in the neighborhood. The connection with the friendly and welcoming neighbors has made this house extra special. And the fact that my parents lived just five minutes away made everything even better. That sense of closeness and connection is irreplaceable. This house and this neighborhood have given me so many beautiful moments, and I hope the next resident will feel just as at home here as I did.
