As a real estate agency, we assist with the sale of a wide range of properties. For us as real estate agents, this variety is very challenging and contributes to the complete picture you get of the housing market in Amsterdam. Personally, I find the design and layout of the Houthavens very well thought out and a nice connection to the "old city." The neighborhood has a very pleasant dynamic and excellent amenities. Spaarndammerstraat and Haarlemmerstraat, among others, offer a diverse range of shops, specialty stores, and caterers. There are also several good restaurants and cozy cafés in the neighborhood. The apartment is a very tasteful and well-maintained ground floor apartment of approximately 65 m². The property offers a perfect combination of contemporary living and comfort. It has a spacious living room with high ceilings (3.31 meters) adjacent to the loggia. The apartment has a beautiful kitchen with a cooking island, a full bedroom with a well-appointed en suite bathroom, underfloor heating/cooling, sturdy wooden floors, a laundry room, a separate toilet, and a loggia. It is a refined home where you will Immediately feel Immediately . The property was built in 2018 as part of a large-scale development, focused on the future with extra insulation measures, gas-free construction, and the installation of underfloor heating/cooling. If you are interested, I would like to invite you to come and take a look. I will, of course, tell you more about the apartment then. Hope to see you soon!

The Local authority developers have agreed that the Houthavens must become a 100% climate-neutral neighborhood. The Houthavens has been built in an environmentally friendly manner, with extra attention paid to energy and material use. The project was completed in 2020 and designed by architect Neelu Boparai. He was inspired by the Houthavens itself, but also by the Entrepotdok, the robust warehouses in Hamburg, and the lofts in New York. The assignment for Wiborgeiland was to design a 150-meter-long residential strip offering views of the water on both sides. The theme for this island was 'tough guys', referring to the warehouses of the past. De Stoere Jongens is located on the first island on the west side of the Houthavens. All the islands in the Houthavens are named after Hanseatic cities with which trade was conducted in the past. Amsterdam's rich trading culture is reflected in Wiborg's architecture. There is a varied facade with nine variations for three apartment buildings and sixteen individual properties. The sturdy warehouses have different details, ranging from a sleek, more modern look to a more literal translation of a classic warehouse with brickwork.
The living room serves as the heart of the home. There is ample space for a sitting and dining area, the ideal place for relaxation and socializing. The large windows and very high ceiling of over 3.3 meters allow plenty of light to enter, further enriching the space. Adjacent to the living room is the loggia. The accordion-style doors create a pleasant connection with the outdoor space. The robust wooden floor, which runs throughout the apartment, and the corner location combine to create a unique and playful character. The open kitchen is equipped with Bosch built-in appliances, including a refrigerator, freezer, oven, combination microwave, dishwasher, and Bora induction hob.
The hall has a laundry room and a separate toilet.
The master bedroom is located on the quiet street side of the apartment and offers space for a double bed and a large wardrobe. The en-suite bathroom is equipped with a spacious walk-in shower, a double sink unit, and a designer radiator. The bathroom has timeless tiling with a combination of concrete-look floor tiles and white wall tiles.
Outdoor living is further enhanced by the loggia, which adjoins the living room and is accessible via a large folding door. The loggia is approximately 7 m² in size and faces northwest, where you can enjoy the evening sun. Partly due to its partially enclosed location, it is pleasant to sit here early in the season, making it a wonderful place to relax.
