Tinto No. 8
There are some houses that surprise you as soon as you step over the threshold. Not because they are ostentatious or striking, but precisely because they feel so right. The proportions, the light, the tranquility, the way the rooms connect with each other. This apartment on Tintorettostraat is one such place.
What makes this house special is not only its spacious dimensions or charming details such as the stained glass in the upper windows. It is the natural way in which modern comfort and character come together. The kitchen forms the heart of the home, opening onto the living room and overlooking the dining table and bay window. Here, you live with the daylight, from the morning sun in the kitchen to the evening sun on the balcony at the rear during the warm summers. Beautiful wooden flooring runs throughout the apartment.

Every day, residents of the Beethovenbuurt neighborhood enjoy the urban design stamp that architect Berlage left on the neighborhood in the last century. His design included avenues, green spaces, and varied buildings. From villas and apartment blocks to mansions, this 1930s neighborhood, which is almost entirely surrounded by water, is characterized by its spacious residences the Amsterdam School style. In addition, this street offers a high-quality selection of bakeries, fishmongers, butchers, patisseries, and wine shops. Olympiaplein is home to the Le Fournil bakery, Fromagerie L'Amuse, and, more recently, Coffee District. Zikking butcher's shop is located five minutes away on Marathonweg. What the owners will miss

This house was more than just a place to live for us. It's where stories were created, memories were made, and our two little kids grew up. The open kitchen was the heart of our home. It wasn't just where we cooked, but also where we had lots of drinks and dinners. And it was a tradition to have a big breakfast every Saturday with the tastiest croissants from Le Fournil. The four Rooms French doors opening onto the balcony were ideal for us: enough space for the children to play in their own rooms, the opportunity to work from home, and enjoy the evening sun on the balcony.
The house has the perfect location: quiet, but with everything within easy reach. Beethovenstraat and Cornelis Schuytstraat, with their charming shops and restaurants, are just around the corner, and Vondelpark is also within walking distance. We took many walks in the neighborhood and enjoyed everything this location has to offer.
We will never forget this house. We loved living here, which makes saying goodbye bittersweet.

At the 'Perfume lounge', they focus on creating and advising on fragrances for companies and organizations and what scent can add to a brand or organization. In addition, they have a store with an assortment of the most special perfumes in the world, where they also give personal fragrance advice. Advice for on the skin or in the house. According to the experts, scent adds something that is not visible and tangible. You can use scent in different ways in a space. It starts, of course, with the fact that it should not smell negative. There are quite a few spaces where you smell the sewer or sanitary facilities, where there has been a lot of smoking or where the extraction is not good and it smells like food. The most simple way of scent in the house is that it smells clean. Many people associate cleaning or detergent with a clean, tidy and well-kept house. In addition, you can turn on the ambiance. Just like with light and music, you can soften or strengthen the atmosphere. You can make it smell very homely or very modern. Rural or artistic. Or very minimalist or intimate.
