The proportions, the light, the tranquility, the way the rooms connect with each other. This apartment on Tintorettostraat is one such place.
What makes this house special is not only its spacious dimensions or charming details such as the stained glass in the upper windows. It is the natural way in which modern comfort and character come together. The kitchen forms the heart of the home, opening onto the living room and overlooking the dining table and bay window. Here, you live with the daylight, from the morning sun in the kitchen to the evening sun on the balcony at the rear during the warm summers. Beautiful wooden flooring runs throughout the apartment.

This house was more than just a place to live for us. It's where stories were created, memories were made, and our two little kids grew up. The open kitchen was the heart of our home. It wasn't just where we cooked, but also where we had lots of drinks and dinners. And it was a tradition to have a big breakfast every Saturday with the tastiest croissants from Le Fournil. The four Rooms French doors opening onto the balcony were ideal for us: enough space for the children to play in their own rooms, the opportunity to work from home, and enjoy the evening sun on the balcony.
The house has the perfect location: quiet, but with everything within easy reach. Beethovenstraat and Cornelis Schuytstraat, with their charming shops and restaurants, are just around the corner, and Vondelpark is also within walking distance. We took many walks in the neighborhood and enjoyed everything this location has to offer.
We will never forget this house. We loved living here, which makes saying goodbye bittersweet.
