Amstelcorner No. 3
As a real estate agency, we assist with the sale of a diverse range of properties. As a real estate agent, this variety is very challenging and gives you a complete picture of the housing market in Amsterdam. This is also the case with this address, Eerste Oosterparkstraat 3-1. I find its location between two parks and on the Amstel River particularly special. The apartment has many attractive features: it is light, the view from the living room over the Amstel is sensational, and with a spacious bedroom and a large indoor storage room, this is a highly sought-after property. The living room, which extends across the width of the property, is unique in my opinion. If you are interested, I would like to invite you to come and take a look. Of course, I will tell you more about the apartment then. I hope to see you soon.

Architecture
Originally, the building block comprised five buildings and dates from the early nineteenth century. Under the supervision of architect Leendert van der Tas, the building block was designed in an early Amsterdam School style. The building block has the characteristic facade layout with decorative elements, such as subtle details around the windows and bay windows, executed in decorated lintels and string courses.
In 2008, commissioned by the De Key housing association and under the supervision of the Hooyschuur architectural firm, the buildings at Number and 5 were renovated. During the renovation, the entire shell was renovated, the foundation was renewed, and the building was divided into apartment rights. The division created a residence on the first floor, spanning the width of the building. The street is named after Oosterpark, the first large park (12.6 hectares) that the Local authority constructed in 1891.
Living and cooking
The apartment is accessible via the wide communal staircase. Upon entering the first floor, the hall provides access to all Rooms. The living room, at the front of the apartment, is the heart of the home with an incredible view of the Amstel River. There is ample space for a sitting and dining area, the ideal place for relaxation and socializing. Because the living room spans the width (almost 7.5 meters) of the building, it has a unique size. This, in combination with the large windows, provides plenty of light, which further enriches the space.
The open kitchen has a timeless design and is equipped with various built-in appliances, including an oven/microwave, dishwasher, 6-burner gas hob, extractor hood, and fridge/freezer. The robust wooden floor completes the space and matches the pleasant atmosphere of the apartment.
There is also a large storage cupboard in the hall.
Sleeping and bathing
The master bedroom is located at the quiet rear of the apartment and offers space for a double bed and a large wardrobe. The bathroom is accessible from the hall and features a spacious walk-in shower, a toilet, and a washbasin.
