Tessa Dijkstra
Content Marketer
Interior design and styling have been a recurring theme in Tessa's life ever since her studies.
At the age of seventeen, she started at Jan des Bouvrie College on Roelof Hartplein, where she was introduced to interior design. She then went on to study at Academie Artemis, where she immersed herself in concept development and branding, always with interior design as the underlying theme.
Tessa is now a content marketer at Broersma. She develops content for social media such as LinkedIn and Instagram, and contributes to Broersma's brand development. Together with the marketing team, she thinks about the themes for The Edit. Her eye for imagery and styling, knowledge of video editing, and ability to multitask come in handy here.
What appeals to her about working at Broersma is coming up with ideas together, sharing inspiration, and telling stories. "We are more than just a real estate agency—we convey atmosphere and history." She recently worked on a shoot for a house on Oudekerkerdijk, where she was involved from the initial location check to the social media campaign. "That's where I really noticed how the team comes together—everyone needs their own perspective to complete the story."
Amsterdam East continues to inspire her: the Oosterpark, the Dappermarkt, and her favorite terrace on the Plantage. In her spare time, she enjoys sports: tennis, Pilates, and spending time with friends and family keep her balanced.
