Nanneke knows what people dream of
“I enjoy sharing my enthusiasm for the profession with others,” says Nanneke, who, in addition to her work at Broersma, is also a lecturer at the Academie voor Vastgoed (Real Estate Academy). With strategic insight and engaging empathy, she points out how important it is to look at social trends and listen carefully to the customer: “My personal motivation in my work is to support people in this exciting phase of their lives.”
Fifteen years ago, Nanneke consciously chose to specialize New build completed the Housing Market Consultant course at the Academy for Real Estate. She researches, analyzes, and advises on the development of residences. "Through our intensive contact with people who are looking for a home, we know what people dream of. I am happy to share that knowledge."
She pays attention to dispelling doubts. Like with a young woman who came to buy her first home with her father. "Her biggest concern was whether the bedroom had enough space for her shoe collection," says Nanneke. She decided to take her to an interior designer, who designed an elegant wall of cupboards that made clever use of the space: "That was the deciding factor; she bought the house."
It comes as no surprise that Nanneke feels a connection with Amsterdam-Noord: “Noord is bustling, the development of the raw industrial environment is palpable and makes it interesting. Cycling onto the ferry to Noord is so typical of Amsterdam.”
On a summer's day, her favorite spot is the terrace of the Mandelahuisje near Sixhaven, a real hidden gem where you can sit on the grass with the IJ river babbling at your feet. Another recommendation from Nanneke is 'This Art Fair': "At this art fair in Noord, young artists are given the opportunity to present their work. Broersma is a proud supporter of this initiative."
