The transformation
During the redevelopment, Villa Vondel was transformed from a classic 1920s building into a contemporary metropolitan design. The façade was radically opened up and conservatories were added to enhance the feeling of space and light.
In collaboration with the interior designers at Just Design Studio, we designed a number of well-thought-out sample floor plans for each home, including a complete finishing package. This allowed us to provide a clear overview of the total investment required for the purchase. Buyers could then work with the interior designer to customize the layout of the home and the design of the kitchen, bathroom, and floors entirely to their own liking.
Sales event
The sale of Villa Vondel began once the structural work was complete, with the major advantage that guided tours of the building were possible. Only the layout and atmosphere of the residences still residences . We visualized these by hanging life-size images in the rooms, as in a gallery. The result was overwhelming. There were even interested parties from the US whom we gave a tour via video link.
An elderly lady climbed up the scaffolding with the construction workers to admire the view over Vondelpark. And that while she wanted to move because of the stairs in her current home.
