Klein Kadoelen: a new residential neighborhood on a former factory site in Amsterdam North.
Achieving the maximum achievable return depends on making the right choices during the development phase. The facades designed by the architect, featuring traditional Dutch carved joints, were in danger of being cut back due to budget constraints. We were able to convince the developer that such a unique element actually contributes to the identity of a house and the perception of quality.
Unique rural living, within Amsterdam's ring road
Klein Kadoelen is a new residential neighborhood on the site of a former factory in Amsterdam-Noord, on the edge of a nature reserve. The challenge of this project, in which our new-build specialists have been involved since the very first development phase, was to develop large, high-end residences gardens, even though the location was not yet well known or sought after.
Together with the advertising agency, we conducted market research and determined the strategy, focusing on the target group that we had clearly defined in advance: families with young children who wanted to trade the hustle and bustle of the city center for more space and freedom.
