Building

The building was constructed in the 1950s as an office and warehouse for metal processing and machine tool repairs. Nearly 70 years of use left its mark, resulting in a fusion of different buildings with a large collection of temporary architectural solutions.

In 2020, a transformation was realized based on a design by architectural firm Van Manen, bringing these offices back into line with current standards for office users. Not only was the interior renovated, but the exterior also underwent a metamorphosis, revealing the beautiful brickwork once again.

During the transformation of the buildings, conscious choices were made regarding insulation, resulting in a pleasant indoor climate. The buildings are very deep, which is why large skylights and patios were chosen to ensure sufficient daylight.

Preserving raw historical elements while creating a fresh office interior has led to a successful transformation, allowing the office to remain in this attractive location for many years to come.

Outdoor space

There is sufficient space at the rear for parking cars, scooters, and bicycles.

Amsterdam Winery

Although they have been professionally tasting and selecting wine at Wijnhuis Amsterdam for more than 25 years, the wine house in Amsterdam is a fairly recent addition to their story. After numerous tasting sessions, they were so enthusiastic about the German wines that they were only too happy to give the wines a platform within the Netherlands. In May 2018, they opened Wijnhuis.Amsterdam, initially with only three of their own imports from Germany. They now represent an impressive range of twenty German winemakers, three from Austria and one from Luxembourg. When selecting the wines, elegance, drinkability, low alcohol percentages and minimal intervention in the production process are important.
