YOUROWN was developed by Multi Corporation and MotherOfSpace in collaboration with the team at Prosman de Wit Architecten. The historic, rugged, and robust character of the Buiksloterham neighborhood is combined with architectural diversity, robust urban residential and commercial blocks, sweeping views of the IJ River, and a pleasant and vibrant living environment. A defining feature of the building’s exterior is the numerous facade openings, which are fitted with aluminum frames and glazing. The building is taller at the front than at the rear. This is because the roof is a so-called shed roof, also known as a sawtooth roof.
The common areas feature high-quality flooring and wall finishes throughout. There is a shared entrance with a central core containing a stairwell and elevator.
