As every year, PROVADA 2025 brought the real estate sector together in a vibrant mix of knowledge, vision, and networking. For Broersma Werken Wonen, the three-day fair was not only a place to strengthen relationships, but above all to look ahead: how will we live and work in the future? How can Sustainability innovative construction techniques contribute to a more meaningful living and working environment?

Innovation as a vehicle for identity

What stood out during PROVADA 2025: innovation is no longer focused exclusively on acceleration and efficiency. The focus is shifting to quality, Sustainability character. At a time when new residential areas sometimes look indistinguishable from one another, 'distinction' is becoming an essential theme. The trick is not to build more, but to build better, with more attention to context, materials, and people. We are seeing a revaluation of identity in the built environment.

Sustainability: from ambition to craftsmanship

Sustainability a visible and tangible theme at PROVADA 2025. From circular bricks that have already had a previous life to wooden building modules that are easy to dismantle. Compact and circular construction proved to be surprisingly compatible with comfort and quality. For example, the first carbon credit from a fully biobased Nature House was recently auctioned. A sign that Sustainability is being taken increasingly seriously, Sustainability only ecologically but also economically.

The era of traditional construction is over. We must dare to think differently about space, footprint, and material selection. Less is more. Fewer square meters can actually create more value. With a more attractive working environment, organizations actively encourage their employees to come to the office more often.

Technology that connects

At Broersma, we see technology as a means to improve design, visualization, and connectivity. At PROVADA, we saw inspiring examples of this: from digital maps that provide insight into the city as a whole to innovative ways of presenting and communicating that make projects tangible to a wide audience.

What stood out was the positive energy: attendance was high and the discussions were substantive. The sector is not only looking at obstacles, but above all at opportunities.

At Broersma, we don't just facilitate transactions, we contribute to meaningful places to work and live. Whether it's a monumental canal house or a new neighborhood on the outskirts of the city.
