What the owners will miss

As soon as you enter, you immediately feel the space, tranquility, and rich history that the house exudes. It is a place where the past and comfort come together. The favorite spot in the house is undoubtedly the bar in the kitchen, where cooking and conviviality come together, and by the fireplace, where you can relax. The Plantagebuurt neighborhood exudes history and conviviality. In the summer, you can sit on Artisplein among the spoonbills and playing children, and in the winter, you can enjoy long, leisurely lunches at restaurant De Plantage. Thanks to the liveliness of the nearby University of Amsterdam, the neighborhood buzzes with activity all year round. Favorite spots in the neighborhood include Sagra Food & Wine for a delicious lunch, Box Social for coffee, Rialto Cinema for a night out at the movies, the colorful Dappermarkt, and of course Artis and the Hortus for a green escape. What will be missed most is the silence from the bedrooms, occasionally disturbed by the soft singing of birds or the buzz of lemurs in Artis Zoo—a special reminder of this unique place.
