More air. More water. More life. On the western edge of the city, where space is palpable and the air is free to breathe, lies Osdorp, a neighborhood with a relaxed character and a surprisingly green heart. Established in the 1950s as part of the Western Garden Cities, it has since grown into a pleasant residential area with plenty of living space. At the Sloterplas, just a stone's throw away, you will find peace and recreation in one. The beach, sailing club, walking trails, and cozy terraces make city life here just that little bit lighter. The surrounding avenues and squares are spacious, with lots of greenery, water, and play areas. From modern apartment complexes to characteristic porch flats, the variety in architectural style makes the neighborhood open and accessible. The Osdorpplein shopping center is the bustling center of the neighborhood. Everything comes together here: shops, restaurants, culture, and the iconic Meervaart theater. Local markets, worldly cuisines, and amenities for young and old ensure that daily life is pleasant and practical.

accessibility The apartment is easily accessible by car, bicycle, and public transport. Within minutes, you can reach the Ring A10 or A4 motorways via the nearby roads, taking you to Schiphol, The Hague, or Utrecht. Trams 1 and 17 stop within walking distance and take you directly to Lelylaan Station, the center of Amsterdam, and Central Station, among other destinations. There are also various bus connections to Sloterdijk, Schiphol, and Amsterdam Zuid, among other destinations. Lelylaan Station is about a 10-minute bike ride away, as is Sloterdijk Station. Traveling within and outside the city is therefore easily arranged from this location.

parking facilities Parking is available via a permit system on public roads (Nieuw-West 9h permit area). With a resident parking permit, you can park in Nieuw-west 9 and Nieuwe-west 7. An initial parking permit costs approximately €38.60 per six months. There is currently no waiting list for your permit area. A second parking permit costs €96.49 per six months. Blanche & family
Studio La Blanche

The design was centered around one idea: creating calm. This was translated into a minimalist design language with a high-quality finish. Washing, cooking, watching TV, storage—everything is integrated into custom-made furniture that blends in with the walls. The light wooden floor reinforces the modern and spacious character. The kitchen forms the heart of the studio. Oak veneer from Shinnoki's warm Suède series was chosen for the cabinets, combined with Italian Calacatta Fabbricotti marble. This mix of natural materials gives the kitchen a timeless luxury. This palette of materials is repeated in the bathroom. The washbasin unit is made of the same oak and marble. This creates unity, tranquility, and cohesion. A conscious decision was made to locate the living room on Nicolaas Anslijnstraat. The entrance is on the gallery side, while the bedroom borders the Sloterplas. Thanks to a clever design, the apartment can function as an open loft or a two-room apartment. A fully retractable 'pocket door' makes both options possible. Tranquility, privacy, and a strong connection with nature are at the heart of the design. This is reflected in the sober, minimalist forms and the use of materials that still exude luxury. For the kitchen cabinets, oak veneer from Shinnoki's Warm Suede series was chosen again, combined with Breccia Aurora marble. This marble, with its gray and sand-colored shades, is known for its warm appearance. The same luxury can be found in the bathroom: a spacious shower with a bench and a custom-made washbasin cabinet, finished in the same oak and marble as the kitchen. Using a consistent design language and material palette throughout creates harmony and cohesion.
