Villa Hahn
This villa is an iconic property in the Apollo neighborhood, where history and refinement come together. Located in an oasis of greenery, the house offers a unique experience and a sought-after location. Designed in the Amsterdam School style by architect Edmund Nijsten and built in 1930, the villa originally served as the home of diamond dealer Felix Friedman and his wife. It is a fine example of this architectural movement, characterized by rich details and a sleek, monumental appearance. Since 2003, this special property has been occupied by the current owners, who have renovated it with care. Contemporary luxury has been added without compromising the villa's original identity. The combination of original features, such as stained glass windows, decorative brickwork, wrought iron accents, high ceilings, elegant staircases, and parabolic passageways, with subtle modernizations makes it an exceptional villa. The spacious rooms and refined finishes, in harmony with the green surroundings, create a balanced living experience. The atmosphere of the 1930s remains palpable in every detail, contributing to the authentic charm of the house. Albert Hahnplantsoen is one of the few locations in Amsterdam where almost exclusively detached villas have been built, making this area unique. We are honored to be able to assist in the sale of this special property, Villa Hahn. A home where luxury and history come together in a subtle way, ready to start a new chapter with its next occupant.

What the owners will miss
Albert Hahnplantsoen 21 has been a special home for us, a place where our children grew up happily. The neighborhood has always had a lively and welcoming atmosphere, with friends around the corner and a constant stream of friends and family visiting. The house offered space for togetherness, with the dining room and open kitchen serving as the beating heart of our family. On Sunday mornings, we enjoyed the peace and quiet in the Side garden, a moment of ultimate relaxation.

The street itself has a special charm. For us, Albert Hahnplantsoen is without a doubt the most beautiful street in Amsterdam Zuid. The combination of architectural beauty, serene tranquility, and a warm community of residents makes it unique. In addition, the area offers everything one could wish for: excellent shops, sports facilities, good schools, and cozy restaurants, all just a stone's throw away.

As true residents of Amsterdam Zuid, we feel connected to the area. Whereas Cornelis Schuytstraat and Beethovenstraat used to be our favorite places, Marathonweg and Olympiaplein are now also high on our list. Each of these is a lively and versatile location where everything comes together.

What will we miss most? In the first Location house itself, with all our cherished memories and lovely neighbors. The daily walk with the dog along Apollolaan, Van Goyenkade, and Beethovenstraat will also always remain in our memories.

This house has given us so much, and we hope it will become just as warm and beloved a place for its new residents.

De Wijnkaart is located in the Museum Quarter in Amsterdam-Zuid. All kinds of wines from the forgotten Eastern European wine countries are served here. Although the history of wine making started here, these countries are often forgotten in the wine world. If you have become curious about all kinds of wines, you can do a wine tasting in the wine bar, where you can choose which ones you want to taste. In addition to the appetizer platters that change weekly, there are also main courses on the menu.

Perfume Lounge

At the 'Perfume lounge', they focus on creating and advising on fragrances for companies and organizations and what scent can add to a brand or organization. In addition, they have a store with an assortment of the most special perfumes in the world, where they also give personal fragrance advice. Advice for on the skin or in the house. According to the experts, scent adds something that is not visible and tangible. You can use scent in different ways in a space. It starts, of course, with the fact that it should not smell negative. There are quite a few spaces where you smell the sewer or sanitary facilities, where there has been a lot of smoking or where the extraction is not good and it smells like food. The most simple way of scent in the house is that it smells clean. Many people associate cleaning or detergent with a clean, tidy and well-kept house. In addition, you can turn on the ambiance. Just like with light and music, you can soften or strengthen the atmosphere. You can make it smell very homely or very modern. Rural or artistic. Or very minimalist or intimate.
