This house was thoroughly modernized in 2014. The owners were assisted in this by the architectural firm BURO V10. Much of what was there has been beautifully preserved. The entrance, the staircase, and the verandas have been carefully restored. At the same time, the house has been completely insulated and new foundations have been laid. Surprising new details include the voids that have been created to connect the garden level and the bel-etage. These voids provide extra height, which further emphasizes the spaciousness and allows even more daylight into the house.
Kitchen-diner.
The kitchen-diner has a unique atmosphere and spacious feel. It is a wonderful space, thanks in part to its more than six-meter-high ceiling and the adjoining south-facing garden. The kitchen itself, the color scheme, and the wooden fireplace complete the atmosphere, making it an ideal place to get together.
