What the current residents will miss:
The curved facade offers a unique view of Valeriusplein: you can look out over the green and lively square from all angles. That gives a feeling of space. It's wonderful that we also have good contact with the street from the first floor. That way, you don't live in an anonymous place, but are part of the neighborhood.
And that neighborhood is wonderful. After a period in The Hague, we returned here with conviction. Everything is within easy reach. For Saturday shopping, there is the Zuidermarkt, the flower stall on Van Baerlestraat, and the toko on Hoofddorpplein. On Sundays, we go for a run in Vondelpark. The boutiques and coffee shops on Cornelis Schuyt are almost always open. If you need to leave the city by car, you can be on the A10 in no time. We are moving because we both want to do something with our green fingers. But we are leaving with a heavy heart. We have loved living in this house.
