Tom is the customer's eyes and ears.

"When I work for a premium brand, I also find a premium location for that client," Tom says ambitiously. "The people who work there have character, so the building should too, of course." He is thinking of a rugged industrial office space opposite Amsterdam Central Station that he found for a typical Amsterdam company that serves international businesses.

Tom studied Business Administration, Retail & Management at Alkmaar University of Applied Sciences and chose to specialize in commercial real estate. This was a conscious choice for him, with finding the right match being his top priority. He values the advisory role in his profession and wants to know exactly what is going on.

Sometimes Tom finds a needle in a haystack, such as the luxury location for a plastic surgeon, a nose specialist who was rightly looking for the cream of the crop. "Thanks to my network, I found a property below market value in Oud-Zuid," says Tom. "A beautifully renovated building with a boutique feel, exactly what the client wanted."

Tom can often be found in the city. “I meet with clients in the higher segment at Ferilli’s, and I see creative, no-nonsense types at Verhulst. I tailor my choice of venue to the client. Everything in my profession is custom work.”
