Hans prioritizes trust and kindness

“At Broersma, it’s all about doing what’s best for your client,” emphasizes Hans, a former co-owner who stepped down as a partner at Broersma Commercial Real Estate (now Broersma Werken) after 24 years. “I’ll continue to work with my regular clients; I’ve been in touch with them for years.”

Unlike in the residential market, where transactions are shorter in duration, Hans explains that longer-term relationships are built up in commercial real estate. Building long-term relationships with clients is characteristic of Broersma Werken. "We do this with integrity and with years of experience, knowledge, and expertise to advise clients in a results-oriented manner and to their complete satisfaction," says Hans, with trust and friendliness being paramount: "We do our work together with the client; it should also be enjoyable, but professionalism is paramount."

Hans studied Economics at VU University Amsterdam and was licensed as a real estate agent in 1996.  According to Hans, Broersma offers significant added value to the client; “Because knowledge is central.” This includes architectural, legal, and tax matters: “In many cases, in addition to our work as real estate agents, we serve as a sounding board and will always advise clients to involve specialists in the process.”
