With two successful wine shops to their name, they have now opened the Vindict wine bar together with chef Samir Doueiri (56) and sommelier Jan-Jaap Altenburg (31). The bar, made from acacia wood from the Dassemus vineyard in Chaam, exudes warmth and authenticity. Enjoy accompanying dishes, such as escargots with garlic and herb butter or Dutch shrimp cocktail with avocado and lemon, freshly prepared by chef Doueiri. The wine list features a selection of more than fifty wines served by the glass and more than eight hundred wines by the bottle. You can also do a tasting or order a blind wine in a black glass for €7.50. If you correctly name the grape, the glass is on the house.

Since 2012, the former Twentsche Bank building has been transformed into Café Modern.
