General Consumer Terms and Conditions for Estate Agency

These are the general terms and conditions of the Dutch Association of Real Estate Agents and Appraisers NVM. Here you can read about the rights and obligations of your real estate agent and yourself. These conditions have been established in consultation with VBO Makelaar, VastgoedPRO, Vereniging Eigen Huis and the Consumers' Association within the framework of the Coordination Group Self-Regulation Consultation of the Social and Economic Council. They came into effect on September 1, 2018.

General Brokerage Terms and Conditions for Consumers

These are the general terms and conditions of the Dutch Association of Real Estate Brokers and Real Estate Valuers NVM (NVM). They set out the rights and obligations of your broker and yourself. These conditions were drawn up in consultation with VBO Estate Agents, VastgoedPRO, the Dutch Homeowners’ Association, and the Dutch Consumers’ Association within the framework of the Self-Regulation Coordination Group of the Social and Economic Council. They took effect on September 1, 2018.

The general terms and conditions NVM for professional clients have been established by the Dutch Cooperative Association of Estate Agents and Appraisers in real estate NVM U.A. The conditions came into effect on February 2023.

The General Conditions NVM for professional clients have been established by the Dutch Cooperative Association of Real Estate Agents and Appraisers NVM U.A. (Nederlandse Coöperatieve Vereniging van Makelaars en Taxateurs in onroerende goederen NVM U.A.). The Conditions came into effect as of February 2023.
