Building
Location once two buildings on this Location , and in 1916-1917, Hartog Speijer commissioned the construction of a single building to be used as a warehouse with a sponge washing facility, offices, and living quarters. The architect was Harry Elte, who later became Speijer's son-in-law. Above the windows on the ground floor is a tile tableau of carduus pottery from Plateelbakkerij "De Distel" in Amsterdam.
